London, UK – 26th October 2007: On 1st November, T-Mobile will be putting friendship first by launching MyFaves, the UK’s first ‘community’ price plan and the only one to offer unlimited calls to other networks. A monthly payment gives anyone who signs up for its new MyFaves plan unlimited calls, texts and picture messages to the five key people that matter most.
T-Mobile research1 reveals that the average Brit has around 60% of their mobile phone contact with a vital ‘inner circle’ of five people. So MyFaves offers unlimited contact with them all for a flat monthly fee, any time, regardless of their network.
This new breed of price plan comes with a revolutionary user interface that promises a closer connection to your ‘top five’. It displays these inner circle contacts as icons or photographs on the screen of your phone – and it takes just one click to communicate with one of them, either by phone call, text or MMS. And the really clever thing is that the interface gives you control over who is in – or out – of your inner circle. So if you have a new best friend or part ways with a lover, you can simply swap them in or out of your MyFaves.
Vanessa Potts, head of Post-Pay at T-Mobile, said: “MyFaves will totally shake up the market. It’s a new breed of price plan that lets you keep a constant connection to your ‘inner circle’ of close friends and family. The great thing is that all the handset manufacturers including Samsung, Sony Ericsson and Nokia are building it into their phones, so consumers have an excellent choice of market-leading handsets to choose from. It’s causing as much excitement as web’n’walk, our revolutionary internet service.”
Similar to the market-leading Flext tariff, MyFaves has a selection of call packages to choose from to suit a range of customers: MyFaves 25, 35 and 40. Alongside the unlimited contact with your top five, packages also include allowance for calls and texts: MyFaves 25 offers an allowance of 25 minutes and 50 texts, MyFaves 35 offers 100 minutes and 200 texts and MyFaves 45 offers 200 minutes and 400 texts.
The MyFaves tariff will be available to purchase from 1 st November at T-Mobile stores and online at www.t-mobile.co.uk. The specially designed devices come free when a new customer purchases the MyFaves tariff.
